Professor, Economics, University of Oregon
Research Fellow, Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA)
I am an economist and data scientist, with broad interests in labour, health, and education. I apply sophisticated methods in an attempt to identify causal relationships that lead to better understandings of the behaviour of individuals and institutions. I teach micro principles, data science, labour, and industrial organization at the undergraduate level, and advanced micro-econometrics, personnel, and labour economics at the graduate level. I am also on the teaching faculties of the Clark Honors College, and the MBA and Executive MBA programs of the Lundquist College of Business.
